Chemical solvents
Isopropanol (IPA), also known as 2-propanol, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C3H8O. It is an isomer of n-propanol and is a colorless transparent liquid with an odor similar to a mixture of ethanol and acetone. It is soluble in water and most organic solvents such as alcohol, ether, benzene, and chloroform.
Industrial alcohol, also known as denatured alcohol or industrial hot liquor, is used in industry. The purity of industrial alcohol is generally 95% and 99%.
Ethanol absolute refers to a high-purity ethanol aqueous solution, which is a mixture of ethanol and water. Generally, an ethanol solution with a concentration of 99.5% is called anhydrous ethanol.
